8.3 Technical logs (IP addresses, session data) are retained for a maximum of 12 months unless specific security or legal investigations require longer retention.
8.4 Upon request for erasure under clause 10 below, 98pak will anonymise or delete data that is no longer required for legal or contractual purposes within 30 days of a verified request.
9.1 98pak implements industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include TLS encryption for all data in transit, AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest, bcrypt password hashing, and two-factor authentication for player accounts.
9.2 Access to personal data within the 98pak organisation is restricted on a need-to-know basis. Staff with access to player data are subject to confidentiality obligations and receive data protection training.
9.3 In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of players, 98pak will notify affected individuals as required by applicable law, and will take prompt remedial action to contain and assess the breach.
